Do you like chocolate? Dark chocolate and milk chocolate? When you look at me, you will see the prettiest chocolate browns ever - reddish browns and tans.....with a little white on my chest! And, just to make me extra special..... I have green eyes! I am Aspen! I was born probably in xxxx. The nice shelter people don't know for sure because they found me, dumped on a busy highway. I was such a frightened and hungry boy; they worked very hard to fatten me up as I was very thin and underweight. They say I am a sweet Dobie mix. I have very long legs and the typical Dobie markings on my face. They even found me the most wonderful home in the world with a Dad who loved me so much! We were so happy and adored each other. Very sadly, my Dad became very ill and could no longer care for me. With a broken heart and many tears, he returned me to the Humane Society. I have been having a very difficult time since I came back to the shelter. I miss my Dad so much ....and I miss not having a home, my own bed, and all of the love and attention my very own people gave me. I know that when I find my new forever home, my heart will heal again....I will be loved and I will have so much love to give my new family. The nice volunteers say that I really am 'starved for affection and that I want love so badly.' When they took my picture, I was sure they wanted me to sit on their laps! I always try to sit very close to people so that they will know how much I love being loved... I'm kind of a 'velcro guy' . They say I have wonderful manners, I'm house and crate trained. I love going for walks and walk very nicely on a leash. They say I will be a wonderful addition to any family...I love people, big and small.
